William “Bill” Ross
Chairman
William “Bill” Ross began his 30-year career in healthcare technology as an executive for SensorMedics Critical Care. Initially involved in the sales and marketing of their respiratory care product lines, he later drove major business development efforts and guided several key acquisitions in the U.S. and Europe. Ascending to the position of president, he shepherded the organization through acquisitions by Thermo Electron and the subsequent spin-off of VIASYS Healthcare, where he served as interim CEO and later COO.
Mr. Ross holds a B.S. in electrical engineering from the University of Idaho, and an M.S. in biomedical engineering from Washington University. Prior to joining SensorMedics, he worked on nuclear medicine imaging technology and electronic circuitry development for the automotive industry.
He currently serves on the board of directors of several privately held corporations.
Mark Shary
Board Member
Mark is managing partner at Tamarind Hill, an early stage venture capital fund with a concentration in healthcare. Mark has been a prolific founder, seed investor, advisor, board member and executive for more than a dozen technology start-ups. He chairs the board of Vantage Point Logistics, and serves on the boards of IncludeHealth, VPL, Tranztec, Deep Lens, Healthy Roster and HealthPlan Data Solutions. Mark co-founded Updox which exited to EverCommerce in January 2021. Mark has also been an executive committee member of the board of Rev1 Ventures, a venture development organization with over $100 million under investment.
Software companies that Mark founded or co-founded have raised over $80 million in private capital and have collectively grown to over $135 million revenue. The first, HUBLink, merged with Healthcare.com and reached $70 million revenue prior to ultimately being acquired by Infor. Additionally, Mark has been a NASDAQ CFO, an executive with Ernst & Young, an audit chair for a regulated investment company, and a co-founder of a 28 year running public charity.
Mark holds a BBA in accounting from the Mendoza School of Business at Notre Dame. He lives in Columbus, OH with his wife Teresa and is the proud father of two adult sons.

Michael Taylor is a senior medical device professional with over 20 years of public and private company experience in many aspects of business including strategic planning, business development, product management, project management, clinical services, marketing, and customer care. He has worked with many medical device companies and is the former Senior Director, Healthcare Solutions at eResearch Technology. Prior to ERT, he held multiple Director level roles at VIASYS, Cardinal Health, and CareFusion. He graduated from the University of Toledo with a BS in Exercise Science and completed coursework for MS in Exercise Physiology.

Alex Stenzler
Chief Science Officer
Alex Stenzler, (President, 12th Man Technologies) was the former VP Advanced Technologies for CareFusion Inc, (VIASYS, Cardinal Health). Mr. Stenzler brings more than 30 years of clinical and commercial experience in pulmonary medicine to his position. Mr. Stenzler has also held several academic appointments, including Assistant Professor at The University of New York at Stonybrook and twelve years at the Graduate School of Adelphi University. He has been the principal investigator for various NIH and DARPA studies and served on steering committees for randomized controlled trials in high-frequency ventilation, inhaled nitric oxide and liquid ventilation. He has published numerous papers and abstracts and has been an invited speaker at many national and international congresses. He also holds more than 35 US patents for various technologies.
Jim Kamnikar

Jim Kamnikar has over 20 years of experience in operations, e-commerce, product development, digital marketing, and business strategy. He was CEO of GoAntiques, Inc. until its acquisition by Worthpoint Corporation in 2008. At GoAntiques he provided the leadership and strategy that grew the Company’s e-commerce platform to over 1,800vendors in 36 countries. He co-founded Seen Digital Media, whose social intelligence platform brought together top creators, brands and fans through innovative social media content. Seen customers included Ford, Pepsi, AT&T, Reebok, Hilton, and Hershey’s. Seen was acquired by ICX Media in May 2018.
Barry Sugarman
Chief Regulatory Officer
Barry Sugarman is a Senior Pharmaceutical and Medical Device Executive with over 30 years of public and private company experience in all aspects of business including domestic and international management, strategic planning, manufacturing, product development, quality control, quality assurance, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP’s), Good Clinical Practices (GCP’s), Good Laboratory Practices (GLP’s), regulatory affairs operations, engineering, new business development, marketing, and distribution. Experience includes mergers, startups, reorganization, process improvements, and sales management. Licenses: California Board of Pharmacy, Supervisor of Pharmaceutical Manufacturing or Wholesale Operations.
Mac Liaw
Chief Technology Officer
Mac Liaw entered The Ohio State University's Master’s Program in Computer Science at age 15. He was a member of the CERN development team that established HTTP and HTML. He is active in the Linux Kernel, Groovy development and the Haskell Open-Source project. He is an expert in large scale systems and has lectured at conferences on high throughput low latency distributed systems, big data processing, pattern recognition, functional programming and other state of the art computer science topics. He has been involved in video game development since PlayStation 2 and Xbox. He currently oversees PS5 and Xbox Series X video game development.
